Who can use the Bone Student Center?
The Bone Student Center provides high quality service and outstanding facilities for registered student organizations, the university community, business, and the general public. Special rates are available for non-profit organizations (501.c).
Is catering available ?
CDS Catering is the exclusive catering service for the Bone Student Center, Braden Auditorium, and the Bowling and Billiards Center. No outside food or catering services are allowed in our facilities. CDS Catering provides a complete menu ranging from light refreshments to elegant formal dinners. Does the Bone Student Center coordinate all aspects of service for my event ?
When it comes to coordinating an event at the Bone student Center, you get the help and service you need. Our friendly and courteous staff can help you make all the arrangements for your event including: parking, catering, production, technical services, box office and many more.
What is the capacity of the rooms?
The Bone Student Center provides a wide variety of room sizes that can be configured for almost any size event. Please talk with the Scheduling and Event Services staff regarding the specific details for your event.
What kind of audio/visual equipment does the Bone Student Center provide?
The Production Services unit has a wide array of equipment to help make your event a success. From TV/VCR's to wireless microphones, from data projectors to spectacular lighting effects, your event planner can arrange for all of the necessary equipment to make your event as simple or spectacular as you desire.
When do the details for my event need to be submitted ?
The Bone Student Center will need you preliminary details 15 days before your event (30 days for large multi-day / multi-room events). Final details should be made with the Scheduling and Event Services Office seven(7) days prior to your event. Changes made less than two(2) days before your event may be subject to an additional surcharge. For catered events, CDS Catering requires that menu selection and a preliminary count be provided two(2) weeks prior to the event. A final guaranteed count needs to be submitted three(3) days before your event (not counting weekends or holidays).
Is alcohol allowed to be served in the Bone Student Center ?
CDS Catering can provide everything from wine with dinner to cash bars along with your other catering needs. Events with alcohol require a minimum of fifteen days notice for alcohol approval. Contact the Scheduling and Event Services office for additional requirements or to clarify any questions regarding alcohol service.
Is parking included in the rental rate ?
The parking lot located directly behind the Bone Student Center charges an hourly rate. However, a flat rate may be charged for large special events. Special accommodations or alternative billing solutions may be arranged with the Scheduling and Event Services staff.
What are costs of the rooms?

When is my payment due?
Our Business Office will send you a bill after all charges for your event have been compiled. Payments are due within 30 days from date of bill. Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) unable to pay by this time must contact the Business Office to set up a payment plan to avoid being placed on the 'Revoked' list.
